Small Town Girl by Ann H. Gabhart

This is one of the sweetest love stories that I’ve read in a while. “How long can two people stand on the brink of love without plunging in headfirst?”

Kate Merritt, a responsible, sweet sister living in the small town of Rosey Corner longs to fall in love. But she feels she will never find it, or ever have any opportunities away from her hometown. But then Jay Tanner comes to visit a friend, Kate’s new brother-in-law, and Kate’s world changes forever.

Jay has that “bad boy” image and is warned to stay away from sweet Kate. And Kate is warned that Jay is not the best for her. But the two can’t help the sparks that fly. They begin to fall in love, but a misunderstanding drives them apart. Then Pearl Harbor happens, and Jay leaves to defend his country. Can they work out their differences and find love in time? Oh, you’ll have to read it to find out!

I really recommend this book. It was a very sweet story, and very difficult to put down!

I received the book free from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
