Deadly Devotion by Sandra Orchard

This book was so fun to read! I wasn’t able to devote very large blocks of time for the first several chapters, but by the middle, I wasn’t able to put it down! It is a small-town setting where everybody knows everybody. Kate is on a mission to find the killer of her friend and mentor, Daisy, whose death was written up as a suicide. But the facts don’t add up.

Handsome Detective Parker steps in to help Kate in her search. But why is the police chief so anxious to wrap it up? Why is Kate’s boss acting so strange? And what about that liar Edward? What is he hiding? Where is Daisy’s journal?

There are so many clues, suspects and leads, it was hard for me to figure out who the murderer was… be ready for a surprise ending! I can’t wait for the sequel to come out!

I received the book free from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
